Joanne has accepted a 10 month teaching contract from September 2003 to June 2004. As a result she will not be seing individual clients during that time.
Joanne is our ParentSkills Director as well as our key facilitator for the ParentSkills Program.
She is currently working on her Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology at the Adler Professional School of Psychology in Toronto. Her emphasis is on parenting, family guidance and group work.
Joanne obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from the University of Waterloo. She focused her studies on developemental, individual and group psychology. She then went to Brock University to obtain her Bachelor of Education in the Primary/Junior division.
Joanne is also a Certified Master Hypnotherapist registered with the National Guild of Hypnotists. She received her training from the Ontario Hypnosis Centre. She received additional certification in Past Life Regression Therapy and Counseling Skills for Hypnotherapist. She has also been trained to facilitate Hypnosis for Childbirth Classes. Joanne received her certification for Childbirth Education from the International Childbirth Education Association.
